Miscellany Monday

I need to be random today, umm, make that maybe for the next 3 weeks!
1. We are Moving!
We are going to the Henderson Maryland church to pastor. I am nervous, scared and still in a state of shock!

2. We have moved 8 times in 8 years.
Yes I am complaining, just a little ; )

3. I have a very messy house right now.
We currently live in a small double-wide trailer and it is now full of empty boxes waiting to be packed and some already packed. I have really streamlined our "stuff" while we have lived here, but when there is 7 of us in this small space...well you get the picture, but in case you don't here's an actual picture of some of my mess. *embarassed grin*

4. Everyone wants to see us now that we are moving. Not that is isn't nice to feel wanted, or whatever. But I have so much work to do!

5. I really need to go pack! Do I have to? (WHINE!!)

6. I have let my baby play with paper because he likes it and it keeps him happy.

This may make me a horrible mother, I will especially think so if he has paper in his poopy diaper.

I have to go clean, pack, take care of the children, nurse the baby, cook dinner...oh ya, you don't want my whole list do you?

If you would like you can click on the links below and join in the fun!

Have a great day everyone!

  1. Hooray! I am so glad that God is guiding you to this new place! Hang in there- I no packing is NO fun (probably on my list of top 10 things I don't like to do)! It's OK to let baby play with paper :) Later in the week I hope to write a post with a picture of Annabella playing with paper (that I specifically wanted her to play with). So happy for you- & will continue praying!

  2. I'm so happy for you guys. Moving is a little scary but exciting all at the same time. It's amazing to think of all the new people your family will get to meet and witness to. I'll be praying for your sanity as you pack, it's difficult with little ones. Be blessed!!!

  4. Hello there! So glad to visit you! Thank you for visiting me and becoming a new "follower"!

Well, congratulations are in order! This "move" is allowing God to open a new chapter in your life. How far will you move from where you are now? Far enough that everything will be new or close enough that some of the old will still be there? While I'm sure you're a bit overwhelmed, I'm excited for you . . . even if it's been 8 in 8! My prayer will be for His peace and absolute order as you journey through this next transition. He's the orchestrator, therefore it will be beautiful!

  5. Been lovely to get to "know" you a bit today wandering around the blog! (from TTT) I am a Maryland girl too :) We are still here in Columbia. What church will you be pastoring?

Congrats and I hope the move goes smoothly!!! It's tough, especially with so many little ones. I know...we did it 3 years ago...sigh...

  6. Wishing you and your family all the best in your move! Moving is a pain, but so worth it on the other side - right? {At least we forget the mess of the packing once we're settled.}

Thanks for joining in on Mingle Monday!

  7. So happy for you Crystal! I know all you have been feeling and going through as we have moved quite often too and have been in limbo about where we are to go, where my husband will pastor... (still don't know!). All to say, I completely understand, and am praising God for this move in your life. I think it will be wonderful. So very, very happy for you.
