About Me

I am a wife & mommy who lives in A tiny town in Henderson Maryland on the chesapeak peninsula.  I grew up in Hagerstown Maryland.  I have a wonderful husband, we will soon be married for 9 years!  I have 5 beautiful kiddos from ages 7 to 1 year.  I love my family and they mean all the world to me.

I am also a sinner saved by God's amazing grace and I love Jesus with all my heart.  He has taken what was ruined and broken and made me over again.  I am so glad He didn't throw this clay away.  I have had a really rough past caused by sexual abuse and physical abuse from various different people who I will not name.  I know there are many stories like mine and do not really consider myself unique.  However I do consider myself a strong person and God is continually molding me into a stronger, more trusting and confident person.  I can say very clearly that I have healed from a hurtful and damaging past.

My husband is a pastor and we enjoy  living in our beautiful parsonage.   He is a wonderful and Godly man who insprires me to greater heights spiritually and is my rock I can lean on.

Our oldest daughter Karagen Rose was born September 26, 2003.  A little over a year after we were married.

Our oldest son was born 14 months later.  I will never forget the moment I found out he was a boy, I was ecstatic!  Vaughn William, November 26, 2004

Our second daughter was born on May 2, 2006, 17 months later, our only spring baby.  Emmaus Catherine

Our second son was born 16 months later on August 31, 2007, narrowly missing his daddy's birthday by two days.  If he had been born on his daddy's birthday, he would have been a Jr.  Silas David

Our third son was born almost 28 months later on December 22, 2010.  He was my early Christmas present I had been making for 9 months.  We finally got some space between him and his brother and it was nice to get a little breather.  Jachin Michael. (Jachin is Hebrew, meaning God establishes, pronounced Jaykin)

So as you can see my life is very full and blessed.  I believe God has hand tailored for me my husband and children.  They are the ones who have brought healing and a sense of belonging to my life.  It is my deepest deisre to raise my children for the Lord and to teach them to love HIM.

I enjoy reading (when I have time), blogging, facebook, playing with my kiddos, baking, cooking and going on dates with my hubby anywhere.  I also enjoy working out at the gym and getting in shape.  Sometimes I like to sew, can, garden and fish, take walks and watch movies.
